WHO WE ARE

The Colossal Collective is a group of artists, engineers, builders and performers based in Boise, Idaho with a singular mission: to spread a sense of child-like wonder and magic from interactions with our larger-than-life puppets.

Whether it’s dancing with Giant Squids, gazing up to a canopy of 6-foot color changing dragonflies, riding on the back of a full size apatosaurus named King Dazbog, or partying with Gertie, a 16-foot tall, fully mobile Galactic Arachnid -- The Colossal Collective has been providing unforgettable and fantastical experiences since 2012. Our creations are designed, built, and operated to encourage people to embrace the surreal and atypical, and to bring unexpected joy into everyday situations.

The Goal is to restore a little bit of childlike wonder in the world. . .
